Courtyard by Marriott St. Petersburg Downtown

A must stay! We had the very best stay at the Courtyard in Downtown St. Pete with our family of 5! Rooms were spacious & clean, the breakfast restaurant downstairs was delicious and the hospitality was to be recognized! The GM, Arlind and manager, Brandi, were so sweet to our family and go above & beyond for their guests! Perfect location - walking distance to everything. It’s been renovated and it really shows!

The hotel is in an old building which has been renovated. They did a very nice job with the renovations. The staff is very nice and helpful. The valet staff is exceptionally nice and so personable. Max, Alex, and Luis were all incredibly friendly, personable, and genuine. The hotel location is wonderful as it's very walkable to downtown and the waterfront.

BLUF: Solid hotel with Marriott backing. You won’t be disgusted or let down, but the facility is “older” as it’s in a historical building. Location is great though and I would stay again.

Historic building, convenient location, clean room, great front desk customer service, decent size gym. The night shift valet attendant ( blonde girl) was extremely helpful and customer service oriented. She should be the hotel manager.

A good word to describe this hotel is adequate. With rates hovering around $100/ night or less in less busy times of the year, the value proposition is strong. Yes, the rooms are very tired looking. The staff are exceptional, property is clean (except the mirror in the bathroom), and it is within walking distance of many areas of downtown St. Petersburg. I love the historic half of the hotel with the original lobby, original elevators and even doors on guest floors, that's not something you often find. Want a more premium stay? go to the Vinoy St. Pete. That said, you don't get what you don't pay for and this is a Courtyard after all. We have stayed in St Pete many times but first time at this hotel. We found all the staff very welcoming and helpful from the valet (April and Brian) to the front desk staff. The room was a nice size, comfortable and clean. The hotel has reserved much of its historic charm but the rooms have been updated with the modern amenities you find in most hotels. The location is great for walking a few blocks to enjoy great restaurants, bars, shops and museums. Also, we brought our bikes and took a long ride along the Pinellas Trail which you can catch nearby. Will stay here again!

Very classy, older hotel in the heart of downtown. Has to be the quietest hotel i have ever slept in, in my life. Great front desk staff, amazing valet guy and quiet property. Would definitely stay again.
